of the hobbies of the men was collecting the badges of other units and mounting
them on a belt.

Private Alexander Gordon was
transferred to the 16th Battalion when the 94th was broken up, and he served
with that unit both at the front and as a part of the Army of Occupation, until
he was discharged in 1919 when he returned home with the following souvenirs.

which the men of the 94th sailed to
fitness exercises and shooting
drills being done on the crowded decks. As a result of this situation, some men
were killed by accidents and others died because of the poor living conditions.
